The Progress DE Razor has a 5 position blade tension adjustment that moves the double edge blade slightly different distances from the straight bar. Less blade tension will open the gap, as dialing towards 5, for a closer shave. More tension, as dialing towards 1, will close the gap to provide a lighter shave. It disassembles into two pieces for blade changes and cleaning. It is classic brilliant chrome-plated and has a little more heft than the others. Comes complete with plastic storage container, and 10 pack of Merkur Super Platinum blades.
